Conference program

The German Research Foundation (DFG) and the International Monetary Fund are organizing a joint workshop to discuss the impact of the global financial and economic crisis on workers and lessons for economic policy. Topics of particular interest include:

• Credit frictions and labor demand
• Crisis impact on workers
• State of labor markets after the crisis
• Structural reform and the labor market

The workshop will be held on April 25/26, 2014 in Washington DC. We pay for travel expenses and accommodation for all participants. Please submit drafts or (preferably) full papers until February 15, 2014 to tkrebs@econ.uni-mannheim.de.
